Strange delay in requests to NX server from Android app

Hi,

I am developing an Android app for a client that work with NX cameras.
I am using the API documentation here, and managed to have all services working.

My problem is - every time I call a service (e.g. /api/ptz) for the first time, it take 10 seconds to return the response (response returned OK 200, and payload it ok, but it takes 10 seconds to return).

If I call the same service again - the requests returns immediately with OK 200, and the right payload.

if I wait >10 seconds now and send the same request again - I get another 10 seconds delay with an OK response.

anyone encountered this? any help?

  Hello,

  Could you please provide the following info: OS version of the server, VMS build, OS version of the client?

  Is the issue reproducible with curl, python from your desktop machine?
