looking for a Windows client program to play archived video of DW Spectrum server
AnsweredHi there,
We are looking for a Windows client program or playback module to play archived video of DW Spectrum. Basically we used DW SpectrumIPVMS Client v5.0.0.36183 Windows x64 Bit and it works fine (see screen below). However we still need some help to use this client for our usage, this is our question:
Is there a method for calling the IPVMS Client from our Windows app and passing it parameters specifying the archived video to play when it opens? So, we need to call IPVMS Client from our app and direct it to launch into the Playback screen, connect to a specific DW Spectrum Server (connection details will need to be passed as parameters), and play camera #X starting at a specific date/time.
Thank you very much.

Hi Andrey, This is very helpful, thank you!
If I am going to use http as protocol (something like: http://108.15.64.2:7001/view?auth=???????"), I am still not sure how to provide {access_key}. So, how to create a permanent access key? Where can I find it? Or, if I am going to use login:password, what will the URL look like? Thank you again.

Some more questions:
1. we'd like to open Windows desktop client ("DW spectrum client exe file) instead of web client. Can this URL method open Windows desktop client program?
2. If running DW spectrum client exe, besides parameters for "-auth", "-layout", are there anything for "resource" (camera_id), and clips timestamp for viewing archived video? This is my example command line: ""DW Spectrum.exe" --auth=http://admin:pwdpwd@108.15.64.2:7001 --layout-name="New Layout 2""
