I'd love to see a 'Dealer Cloud', operating independently from the End-User Nx Cloud system, which supported aggregating all of the video, alerts and system management from all our customer systems, with-out linking systems from an end-user perspective.

The purpose here would be to allow the easy use of Nx Witness as a platform for Managed Video, Virtual Patrols, VSaaS and Alarm Video Verification.

This is something we would quite happily pay a monthly fee for... say, per system connected.

Thoughts?

  James,

  Thank you for submitting the request.

  Isn't that something you can achieve with a current management options via the Cloud Portal.

  Once created, you can merge systems under one administration account and then grant users with an access with limited permissions.

   

  Please, let me know if I didn't get your question correctly.

  You are right, we do not have this feature at the moment.

  You also asked if there is a solution - yes, you can pull RTSP streams from media servers without merging systems. This feature will be implemented in our 3.1 Nx Witness release, or, for that matter you can download a beta version from my.networkoptix.com portal now.
