Audio Role Permission

I've noticed after updating to 3.0.0.15297 (DW Spectrum) that you can now hear the audio on the mobile app. This is great but can you possibly make that a role permission. i.e. disable the audio from the camera for certain users. 

 

P.S. a mute button on the mobile app would be nice as well

  Just got that request from a customer as well. Ability to disable live/recorded audio for certain users/roles. This makes so much sense I'm surprised it's not already an option.

  Good day!

  The issue of administering audio access for various system users was raised six years ago. Has the implementation of that option been approved, is this work included in the programmers’ work plan? It will be very useful and logical - to on/off the sound for the live and recorded video for some users categories. 

  Time passes, but there is no answer...

  Hey all
  A new "column" with "Play Audio" permission will be added in the next major release (6.1). No solid ETA for that release, the current estimate is the second half of 2025.
