Scheduled PTZ tour without motion indexing
CompletedPTZ camera stays at its Home position for the majority of the time. Every x minutes, or on 1/4, 1/2, or hour, PTZ makes a preset tour then returns to home.
It would be nice if motion detection was disabled during the tour so as not to be indexed during smart searches. In fact, it'd be nice if motion detection was disabled any time the ptz is in motion.
I have not tried the API yet to see if a Tour ID would be recognized as a PresetID, I'm guessing not since Tour ID's do not appear in the PTZ preset dropdown in the Generic Event Action section. But even if that worked, it would still not solve the motion indexing during PTZ travel issue.
Thanks

Paul,
The motion detection should be disabled by default when camera is turning. Otherwise it creates a motion on it's own.
Please , let us know if you can actually run and see the motion detection marks on a timeline through the period of camera movement.
Thank you.

Yes, it does appear to me that ptz motion does index. This link is to a 250 MB DW.exe demonstrating what I am experiencing. https://drive.google.com/open?id=11b0v8Jb4SBqXUgUIemC4k4xZuJj23Lty
Perform a smart search pretty much anywhere in the view and you will see motion ticks when the PTZ moves.
