Hikvision iDS-2CD7A46G0-IZHS - supported in-camera analytics?
AnsweredI'm adding a Hikvision iDS-2CD7A46G0-IZHS bullet camera to a NX v5.0.035745. The Hik is running version V5.8.0 build 220824 firmware (the latest).
The camera is adding fine, but I'm seeing no analytics detected by NX. I was expecting to get the in-camera analytics operating, resulting in being able to use the advanced object detection in NX, but NX doesn't seem to be able to recognise the analytics being present at all.
The plugin shows is shown under settings. The camera is showing all the relevant metadata detected on the web interface. What's the best way to work out what's going on - and if I can see this data within NX?

Thanks for your update.
Nx Witness v5.0 now does not integrate the object detection with Hikvision. So it is likely expected you won't have the function on Hikvision camera/devices.There is no solid ETA though, but likely on Nx Witness v5.2, we will have the chances to put the Hikvision improvement in the backlog. Another news we can share is that Hikvision HQ is trying to develop the Nx Witness plugin for their users, likely you would have the change to see the Hivksion team to implement the function for you in the near future.
Maybe you would be able to check this next quarter with Hikvision.
Thanks.

Hanwha camera would work for this job.
Currently, unfortunately we don't have the list for every camera if it does support the object detection. This is actually a camera function that could be added/removed any time without any notice.
So we will not be able to tell if a camera support the function, but can tell which manufacturer might be supporting the object detection at the moment.
For specific Nx Witness v5.0, you can refer to this post : https://www.networkoptix.com/blog/advanced-video-analytics-objects-search-nx-v5
Thanks.
