Edge Recordings To Fill Gaps In Timeline

Is it on the road map to somehow use the edge recordings from the SD card on a camera to fill gaps on the timeline due to brief network issues or interruption? I heard something about this possibly being a feature in 5.0.

  Hi!
  Yes, it's in the roadmap. But it is not coming in 5.1, as we faced some issues that we still need to fix. So it's coming in the version after 5.1.
  
  In 5.1 it is only available in "preview" mode where you can enable it via conf file to test.

  You should be able to find enableRemoteArchiveSynchronization flag in .ini config files 5.1 (has to be enabled both in the client and server).

  The new setting should appear in Camera Expert settings.

  Right now it may not work for all cameras, but should somewhat work for Hanwha Profile G-enabled cameras.
