Linux instability after update 5.0
CompletedWe’ve been facing several problems since we updated the system, some of them we solved locally and without much difficulty, but 2 of them we’ll need support from the development team.
Here are the problems:
- High usage of GPU on client 5.0.0.35270, when opening the client and connecting to server automatically runs 43~45% of GPU usage, before upgrade on version 4.2.0.32841 that problem doesn’t exist, so this high usage inflicts on their monitoring center that is freezing the images.
NVIDIA Quadro NVS 510.
Version 30.0.14.7381
Server Information:
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1245 V6 @ 3.7GHz
- Second point, the server working on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is crashing, service is making overloaded CPU, log only displays that is a stop unexpected and displaying I/O errors.

Hi Bryan Nikollas,
I moved this topic from the Feature Feedback section to Nx Witness Software Suite section, so it will be read by our support team as well.
Is the issue still relevant?
If so, I would see if changing the GPU from Nvidia to the onboard Intel GPU resolves the issue (if there is an onboard Intel GPU of course).
If that doesn't help, please, can you tell more about the issue and the systems as a whole, as described in THIS support article? Also, what kind of Virtual Machine Manager are you using?
