    Hi Victor Kravchuk,

It is across hive, you can enable the 2-way-audio on cameraA (Server A), then map it to speaker B(ServerB).
So when you speak to cameraA, then the sound will be played on speakerB.

Is this what you looking for?

I ask not about sound out option, but about sound adding - from the camera, to which this sound is connected physically, to the other cameras in the hive. Now it is available only within the server, where the sound boarded camera is situated. But it does not work in the hive - system tells about it with the red-colored note. :)

    Hi Victor Kravchuk,

Thanks for the explanation. yes that is designed behavior.
We will consider to improve the feature in the future release, so far we don't have this in the list, but we will put this in the backlog.

    Thanks.

I don’t understand why the developers didn't pay attention to this simple, obvious and extremely important thing. And because of this the sound mapping feature is not full and is not enough  effective...  :(

Ichiro, do you have any influence on the development team to improve and fully implement this feature the way it should be? Can you provide a timeline for the next software release?

For reference, this development of this option started in December 2020

    Thank you, Victor Kravchuk,

We'll leave this topic open for a few months and see how many votes and supporting comments it receives from other users, and depending on the number of votes and comments, we might discuss your proposal in the future.

    Victor,

FYI, we choose to do it within one server only because the implementation of it has about 10% complexity vs implementation for the hive( since ONE media server has all streams ) and covers(subjectively) 90% of user stories. We hope you understand.

    Hi all!

I expected (for example), it will allow me to use audio channel from the Web camera that connected to the PC under the table with installed Server 1 with the IPC on the ceiling above the table and added to Server 2.

Before we paid attention on Server balancing when added the IPC... now will be necessary to think about audio mapping preferably...

Being talking with potential customers we always focused on NX flexibility... but not for such solutions. Regretfully!

    Hi
Working with sound is very important in many large projects.
This parameter cannot be left in this implementation.
With 3 + servers and 200 + cameras, it is very difficult to work with sound only within one server
But everything works for competitors: -)

    Guys,

Thanks for the feedback. It's clear to us, that you want it within a hive(not server) now.

It's clear that the desire is big. Thanks again, we will take it into account.
But I bet, the next thing you ask is to make make it cross hive/system:-)

( as a reminder our thought process was: it's better than nothing )

    Hi, Sergey!

Thank you very much for the positive answer. If this property is vital for the hive in every one system, then to imagine that in each and every system the sound from one hive will be vital in another hive is extremely difficult ... :)     In any case, thank you very much for recognizing the problem.
