    Hi Lucas,

By nature there is delay in the client due to the chain from command to excution, and from command to live stream.

You might be able to reduce the delay a bit by adjusting the Maximum Live Buffer Length. The effect of this change depends on the available connection. These settings can be changed through the Main menu (hamburger menu in the top left), Local Settings menu, tab Advanced.

Typically, the mouse + the Advanced PTZ feature is the best option to follow an object, with the side note, that the more you zoom in, the more difficult it is to follow an object, this applies to the mouse, but even more to the joysticks.

    Hello,

What value in ms do you recommend?

    Hi Lucas Couvillers,

The recommended value is the default of 500 ms, but if this causes too much delay, you should lower it, until it works for you. I can't make an exact recommendation. I would lower the value with 100 ms, until the desired level has been reached.

Hello, The buffer settings don't change much. Since the update, there are major PTZ management issues. Indeed, when you select a camera and activate the ptz on it, other random cameras move at the same time. The client can no longer do anything because it disturbs all the PTZ What is the problem ?

Hello, I am in intervention at the customer. In summary : Since I installed Patch 4.2.0.34125 When you open 2 instances of NX Witness, the joystick moves the PTZ of both screens even if only one camera is selected. Besides, the joystick has a latency time of about 1s, which is a lot compared to the keyboard. With the use of the keyboard on the other hand, there are not all its problems. For the moment is it possible to put back the old version so that the customer can still use the cameras on his 2 screens?

Hello, We are going to buy a new joystick (to see if it is the joystick that is slow or the software). Is it possible to have a patch to solve the following problem: The joystick moves several cameras when displaying the cameras on 2 screens. If we move a right screen PTZ, 2 or 3 PTZ of the left screen move at the same time I hope I have succeeded in describing the problem. thank you

    Hi all

Any idea about that issue ?

What should be done to move a single camera using the joystick when displaying multiple cameras on one layout.
For the time being, when this customer try to do that, all PTZ cameras move at the same time.

    So, Please help !

Hi Lucas Couvillers / Sébastien Gimenez,

So far this isn't a known issue.
Can you tell me if the movement of multiple PTZ cameras also occur when you use the mouse or keyboard controls?

    Hi Aaron ONeill,

The forementioned case couldn't be investigated, but recently we did notice the issue you reported, and it is resolved in the release candidate of version 6.0 which will be published officially on a short notice, but below you can find the update credentials to update your system to version 6.0.0.39503:

    Build Number: 39503
    Password: 5tzxht

Probably needless to say, and my own system could be upgraded painless, but before doing an upgrade to major new version, also create a restore point in your OS prior to the upgrade, so there is a painless return path.

Is there a download link for any beta/RC versions of V6?  So we can test in house etc ready for the first release?

    thanks

I have installed the above mentioned version and the PTZ issue is still present when using multiple monitors.

Has this update fixed the issue for anyone else?
