Axis License Plate Verifier analytics

We have a customer with an Axis camera, named Front Driveway, running the Axis License Plate Verifier (ALPV) and creating bookmarks in NxWitness. However all the bookmarks just say "ALPV.AllPlates at Front Driveway (IPNUMBER)". Are there ways to use variables in the tag creation to insert into the bookmark the OCR'd tag number and the cropped thumbnail of the tag which is generated by the Axis camera?
According to the Axis API documentation the camera should be sending something like this sample data with the "text" field holding the license plate number.

Regarding the thumbnails, the ALPV software settings has an option to Do not send images through HTTP POST, which implies that it is sending images by default, but I don't know how those might be transmitted or received.

Currently, there are no updates, and we still aim to provide this feature in a 5.0 patch, but which one isn't clear at this moment, since we encounter some challenges which might result in postponing the feature to avoid it blocks all progress.

I'm really sorry to bring you this news, but I just got some disappointing news.
We weren't able to add the LPR functionality into the 5.0 engine. Our integration team will start to write an entirely new engine for the LPR functionality, but as a consequence we have to postpone the Axis LPR integration and won't be able to deliver it in a 5.0 patch.

The good news is that our developers are improving this feature, and we aim to provide this feature in a 5.0 patch. Unfortunately, I'm not able to provide you with an accurate release date.

Thank you for reaching out to me. Based on my previous experience, you can create a rule in Nx Witness that specifies the LPR as the Action and the desired Event. With the new update in version 5.1, you will also have access to additional metadata information.

Thanks for the info - oddly enough yesterday the APV options were not showing in Nx but were this morning. And I can confirm that it is now working. There is one piece of data that doesn't seem to feed through and that is the vehicle direction.
I can create 2 event types being ALVP:Plate In and ALPV:Plate Out, and set 2 regions in the camera but then I lose the actual plate data being shown (pic attached). For the use case I will be using it for having the direction isn't an issue, just pointing it out for others.
