    Hi Victor Kravchuk,

    Your suggestion is registered.

Can you elaborate a bit more specific how this would help you when doing service?
We would preferably see multiple use cases, advantages for this suggestion.

Also, want to share some questions with you:

    1. What kind of behavior would you expect when the device you clicked on in the resource tree isn't displayed in the layout?
    2. Should it change color?
    3. Should it stay as it is now?
    4. Should the selected device, that is on the layout, get unselected, or should it remain selected, both in the resource tree and the layout?

    Hi, Norman!

How it works now: we tap the camera window - it's name in the tree begin highliting with blue color. Excellent! If I use "Show additional info in tree", I can see a camera address, it's ID etc - enough to serve my intentions with this camera. Inverse procedure must be equal: when I tap camera's name in the tree, it's window have get highliting as it works in the previous procedure - with the same blue color. As a prompt, this camera window may get pre-reviewing increasing, like it works in the layout, when we are tapping any camera once.

This will be enough for the practice and rational work - two equal inverse procedures. Nothing unclaimed will not be used by the professional operator or system administrator  - both save their time and must have the enough tools kit for the quick and effective reactions...

    Hi Victor Kravchuk,

All clear how you would like to see it working.

    One questions remains;

Can you elaborate a bit more specific how this would help you when doing service?

Preferably multiple user stories. This helps our product team to understand the use case and could increase the priority.

    Hi, Norman!

No any miracles: when I need to reach the camera IP-address, I have to call "Camera settings" and get the IP-address there. Two operations, two looks. Or, I have to get the camera name, find it in the camera tree (more then 140 cameras, for example), and get it's IP-address. The same two operations and two looks.

But when the option I have requested to be implemented will work, I will only tap the camera window, and at the camera tree will see the highlighted IP-address I need (with option "Show additional info in tree" enabled). One touch, one look. Many times a day with different cameras, which parameters are to be corrected... :)

At last, those two inverse operations must be equal from the start of their establishing.. :)

By the way, when I enable "Show additional info in tree", there are not shown the camera's ID numbers, but they must to - can you add this circumstance to the request, as a specific elaboration?
