Multi Tenant support

Can Nx support Multi Tenants. Meaning, can we use single server application and use multiple admin accounts with camera groups. Can we assign camera groups to respective admin accounts which will get access only to assigned camera group?

  At this moment, you can't. But the feature request is fair and often requested in mainly enterprise environments. So I moved your question to our Feature Feedback section, so our product team can take this feedback into consideration for the redesign of the user groups and rights redesign.

  Thanks for sharing your idea! In your case these "admins" should't have permissions to modify system settings, only permissions to manage cameras, right?

  Thanks for your response. Yes you are right. Only to manage cameras and users relevant to that Admin user.

  Ok, I got the idea, thank you. 

  We are planning changes in the permission system in 1 or 2 releases from now. We didn't think of this specific case before, but the final design is not ready yet. So at this point I cannot tell you for sure will your scenario be supported or not. I think in a month or so it will become more clear and I'll come back to you with more specific answer.

  I guess you mean something like this right?

  

  So Admin A (call it a superuser) can manage all users, servers, and connected devices. He also can create other admins and assign systems to them.
  Admin B, can only manage all users and connected devices that belong to server 1 and 2.
  Admin C, can only manage all users and connected devices that belong to server 3 and 4.
  Admin D, can only manage all users and connected devices that belong to server 5 and 6.
  
  Besides that, it should be able to determine if an admin can or cannot view or playback video, right?

  Hi Norman,

  You are absolutely right. Your understanding of the requirement is correct. Super user should have access to all sites and should be able to create Admin users with all privilege's within the full system. Each Admin user should have access to their own system and to create users, delete users and should have access to all functions within his/her system.

  Super user should be able to create Admin user role so that Super user can decide to provide Admin user access to playback, export video etc as needed. Such feature will allow full administrative control on all Admin users.
