The AXIS Q6100 multi-channels cameras will be fully integrated with Nx by the native API since 4.2 patch (4.2.0.33117). After upgrading to the patch build, you should be able to discover 4 channels of AXIS Q6100 successfully instead of creating the ONVIF credentials.

    Thank you.

    Hi David,

May I know what Nx version do you use now? And have you checked if the camera firmware is up to date?

    Thank you.

    Hi Wendy,

NX Witness client and server are both running version 4.2.0.32840. The Q6100-E is running firmware 10.2.0 (the latest version is 10.6.4).

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi David Hynes,

Could you help to check if you could get it working with the latest firmware version by following the steps in the article? If not, could you provide the screenshot of the searching result under Add device window?

    Thanks for your cooperation.

    Hi Wendy,

I've upgraded the firmware to 10.6.4 and we're still experiencing the same issue.

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi Wendy,

Sorry for not getting back to you, we were seeking permission. Can you please explain the process of forwarding the camera and what data that would capture?

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi David Hynes,

Thanks for getting back to us. If you agree to forward the camera, you will receive another mail from our ticket system with a ticket number. Then you could reply to us with the required information via mail directly.
We would need the following information:
    1) The public IP address of the camera.
    2) The camera username and password (admin level and ONVIF credentials).
    3) The external port (forward the HTTP and RTSP port).

Let me know if you are ready for the process.
    Thank you!
