Where does Nx Server saves cameras password

Hi,

 

Where/how does Nx Server exactly saves the configured cameras passwords?

According to this article - https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013837268-Nx-Server-Database-Files the ecs.sqlite file from my understand should contain cameras passwords information.

I've browsed through this DB file but only found cameras information like the manfucaturer, IP/URL of the camera, etc; but not password information or I couldn't identify it.

  Hi Omer Lev,

  The passwords are included in the system database but can't be found due to encryption, obviously. 

  In general, it is not recommended browsing the database to avoid database corruption, if you feel the need to browse through the database, please use a copy of the database to do this.
