MFA for NX Cloud?
AnsweredAre there any plans for multi-factor authentification for NX Cloud?

Luke, this feature is requested so much that we feel like we must do it.
We have some tech difficulties to implement it: it's not only about logging in, it's also about merging systems API etc.It seems small but looks like it's a very big feature.
Anyway, it has a high priority.

Most request for MFA or other authentication options seem to be 1 or more years old with no updated info. I am ready to recommend Network Optix/Digital Watchdog but can't because the lack of any secure authentication options.
Don't do all the work to add 2-factor support directly to the nx Cloud or to the Server. Just support existing identity providers like Azure AD or AD FS or Okta. Many providers provide sample code to enable your apps and web sites to use them. Optionally, add Radius support to the server so I can require MFA without your apps even knowing it by using MS NPS Radius server with Azure MFA extensions.

Agreed Jeff. It will be nice to have *anything*, but at this point it’s going to be frustrating to have a insulated 2FA solution. Support SAML would allow a lot of flexibility. It’s hard to do any sort of conditional access without it, and seems that a security product should put those types of features at the front. We’re doing local accounts via LDAP from our IdP, but more secure cloud access is a huge want for us.

Thanks for your attention and feedback!
I know Luke is already involved in the thread, but here our plans on 2FA: https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360039154693-2FA-release
Unfortunately, there won't be SAML or anything like that, only TOTP
But your feedback is noted, we'll try to fulfill your request in some future releases0
