They are calling it "Video Storage Rate" in their specs but everything I know about RAID 5 or 6 says that write speed does not increase above the single drive write speed rating of the particular HDD's you are using.
Maybe a large RAID 1+0 array could get you close to 800Mbps or 1200Mbps write speed, but the specs specifically say RAID5/6

Is "Video Storage Rate" just a clever way of saying read speed.... or do i need to go back to RAID school?
Reason I ask on this forum is I am up against Exacq on a bid with many cams and I want to use 4 merged servers vs their two citing write speed as the limiting factor with 4MP+ cameras.
