    Thanks for posting. Sorry we didn't get back to you quickly!

    The method you describe above to keep cameras' streams and settings is the correct approach. As H.265 gets more standard over time we'll be supporting it natively for some camera brands - especially Hikvision, Hanwha, DW, etc.

    I Found that going into Expert tab (Far right) of Camera Settings there is a checkbox "Keep camera settings and profile settings" that when enabled, makes the h265 in camera codec stick and not get changed by Nx.

    Hi Zoran 

    I also come across the issue around Nx unable to lock with H.265 codec. I used Dahua camera with H.265 codec and exhibited the same issue as yours. Thank you for your posting and helped me to resolve the issue. Expert tab (Far right) of Camera Settings "Keep camera settings and profile settings" enabled could make the h265 in camera codec stick and not get changed by Nx. I could see H.265 stream now!
