    Hi Cherry,

    Thank you for your message. Based on the information provided, it's a bit difficult to pinpoint the issue. Could it be that you're using the latest version of the Desktop Client to connect to a significant older version of the Mediaserver application, or the other way around?

    Are you able to ping the server from your Mac client?

    The more details you can share, the easier it will be for someone to help troubleshoot and suggest possible solutions.
