Push Events - Interval of Action
CompletedHi everyone,
I have defined the following setting in a rule and am wondering about the behavior of the action. As far as I understand, only 1 alarm should come within 2 minutes, even if several events take place within these 2 minutes.
However, this only happens to a limited extent. If 5 events take place within 2 minutes, only 1 notification is sent, but the 4 other events are only put at the back and are also displayed after a delay of 2 minutes.
Is this behavior intended?

Unfortunately the behaviour is "by design".
Upvote all relevant articles and we can hope for a change.

Please see this post as well I made a while back with a request to improve the current "interval of action" functionality and up-vote/comment: https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/25031948458391--Interval-of-action-request-for-improvement
Myself, and many of my clients and partners, have struggled with the current functionality for a while and hopefully this is something that Nx can finally prioritize and address.

Hi Claudius,
I tried to reproduce the issue, but failed.
If I set an interval of N time, I get the first notification, and one, once the N time has passed, not several.
This is also how it was designed to work. If you receive multiple events after the aggregation time, something isn't right.I acknowledge the requests of Andrew Sharrem and WallaWalla, and although I understand the idea behind the request, and promoted it into an internal request myself, it isn't listed for the currently scheduled releases.
I would encourage anyone, to engage in the topic shared by WallaWalla, since this where our Product Team - among other resources - collects inspiration for future releases.
