    Ruslan Zinatullin, Norman-Nx-Support,

I have also received a report of something similar happening.
Specifically for a high-resolution fish-eye camera, and specifically in the iOS application.
Despite the stream information in the app showing a resolution of around 1080p (H263p), the stream looks like it's much lower resolution, as if the low-resolution stream is being shown instead. Works fine on the desktop client, though.

    You guys have any ideas?

    Hello Andy, Jonas,

Sorry for a late reply, I will make some tests on our side and come back later.

The system is not cloud connected and it's not even accessible from the outside. Only through a VPN. So I'm afraid I can't do that.

I can confirm that the problem is still there. It's exactly the same issue we had a while ago when you guys decided to rollback the iOS app version. That fixed it for a while but now it's totally unusable again.

Video quality is so bad that you can't even recognise a person in front of the camera.

    Hi Andy Knuts,

I'm awaiting a build, that contains a change for something else, however, I assume it should also resolve the issue you encounter. I reckon, it should be available today, or early next week.

I tried replying by email but the message I sent did not come up here?

    What I sent was:

    The log should be 995a9c4a-5fa5-407c-8b81-8b27694d9b68
I hope I did it correctly? I set it t debug2, copied log id and reproduced the problem…

If you can notify me when a new build is available I can try asap...

Also, when it was working the video quality was much worse compared to the desktop client. I cannot set the resolution higher than 1080p but I have 4k fisheye camera's. When it's receiving only 1080P and I tilt/zoom with the fisheye camera the image quality is really bad compared to the desktop client. That's one of the reasons I'm forced to check in the desktop client regularly...

But that's a different issues. Right now the mobile video quality is just unusable.

    Hi Andy Knuts and Norman-Nx-Support,

This is not a solution but may be helpful in understanding and fixing the issue.

If it's the same issue I am having, you can see that it's the dewarping function that is "triggering" the low quality decoding on the App.

If you disable dewarp for that camera you will immediately be able to see the high quality image without all the "square pixelization" that are caused on the App, but will have no dewarping capability, of course.

Also noted that when you have the issue, the higher the resolution the more obvious it is.

    Hello everyone,

Thank you for your feedback, we found a root cause. The issue will be resolved in the next release of the mobile client. We expect is to be published in the end of July.
