1. You cannot use your own photo in the generic event. But you could put the specific camera ID in the metadata field. Then you could get a snapshot of the camera once the event is triggered.

The problem is caused by the response of event type couldn't be recognized. If you just want to create a simple generic event, perhaps you could try it with the following parameter first:
- timestamp
- source
- caption
- description
- metadata (if required)

FYI
/api/createEvent triggers a predefined event rule with "When" section defined as "Generic Event". You can read more about Generic Event in the GUI built-in help manual

Hi Tina Peng,
Actually, this question should be passed to the 3rd party software that you attempt to use. If the device/3rd party software supports sending the HTTP event once an object is detected, then it is possible.
"Sending event when an object is detected" is an active action on the 3rd party software/device, not on the Nx side. Nx just waits for the event to come, checks the carried info, and does the corresponding action.
