    Hi Victor Kravchuk,

I have an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU on a Windows 10 system here and this works just fine Nx, so I assume the Ryzen 9 3950X would work just fine as well.

See also our recommended hardware specifications in THIS support article.

Be aware that when you use AMD processors, you cannot benefit from the Intel® Quick Sync Video hardware video decoding feature.

    Hello Norman - Nx Support,

I got a project where customer like to use Nx, together with Existing Ryzen 9 and Radeon Pro computer.

Is there a way to use them to help for hardware decoding in Nx Settings ? In computer settings ?

    Hello Guilhem Decoux

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to inform you that although the AMD Ryzen CPU and Radeon GPU are supported, the option for hardware decoding is not currently available. This feature is currently only supported for Intel CPU.

That being said, we do have plans to add decoding capabilities for Nvidia GPU in the future. Unfortunately, I don't have a release version available for this feature at this time.

Despite the lack of hardware decoding options, I would like to note that the Ryzen 9 CPU is a powerful processor and typically provides more than enough capacity for the majority of use cases. Therefore, I can't imagine a scenario where you would want to reduce the load when using such a capable CPU.

Thank you for your understanding, and please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Best regards.
