Hikvision NVR Issue
In ProgressThere are Two DS-7732NI-I4(B) recording 46 IP cameras on the network.
25 Channels on 'A' and 21 Channels on the other 'B'.
There are a total of 3 different model cameras in the system.
Four of those cameras are DS-2CD2122FWD-IS - two are on each NVR.
When adding the NVRs to spectrum manually, all channels add correctly except for those channels with those cameras (Ch 22 and 23 on 'A' and Ch 20 and 21 on 'B').
The error given is:
FAILED: Camera request "GetVideoEncoderConfigurations" failed with error "Current channel number is 21, that is more then number of video encoder configurations 4". Please try to reboot the camera, then restore factory defaults on the web-page. Finally, try to update firmware. If the problem persists, please contact support.
ODM can pull the NVR and shows all channels.
VLC can use the RTSP stream and view the video.
If I allow Spectrum to discover and add the NVRs, it only identifies four channels (which sort of goes along the lines of the error mentioned for those specific channels).
Running 5.0.0.36634 (I've spoken to their tech support and they can't resolve the issue).
I have tried the 2 most popular Firmware on the cameras, and the latest. I have factory defaulted, enabled onvif and disabled it on the camera, changed other settings to no avail.
Please can you help?

Hi I S,
No clue whatsoever, but it would be interesting to investigate.
If it is possible to provide remote access to the Hikvision NVR through port forwarding, we are more than happy to investigate the issue and transfer your request into a support ticket, to enable you to provide the remote credentials. Please, confirm, and I'll transfer this topic, into a support ticket.
