Events Sent To Email Only Play Live

Hi,

Since the update from ver 4.2 to ver 5.0 events sent via email and viewed either through the local or web, only show live for atleast 90 seconds after the event. If reloading the same video after 90 seconds, it will finally load to the time stamped event. Is there a way to resolve this?

  Hi Daniel Reece,

  Can you provide more details about the issue? 

  I use version 5.0.0.35745 in an attempt to reproduce the issue.
  When I create the following rule:

  

  I'll receive an email:

  

  And when I click on Play archive from....

  It will start playing in the browser, starting from the moment of the event, until I'll close the window or stop the playback.

  Hi Norman,

  We have approximately 90 servers having this issue all on 5.0.0.35745 and 18.04 or 20.04 Ubuntu. I have also tested the 5.0.0.36221 patch and the result is the same. I have also tested email from camera motion as above or from generic events with the same result.

  Can you be more specific about the issue you experience, since at this stage it isn't clear to me?
  Please provide a step-by-step reproduction scenario.

  Screenshots and/or a screen recording often clarify issues much better than text.

  Certainly Norman, although perhaps it's better to create a support ticket and I can allow you to login to any one of the 90+ servers with the issue?
