What is Execute PTZ as a Preset (aka PTZ-Preset-as-an-Action)?
Execute PTZ as a Preset is a function that allows users to trigger the movement of a PTZ camera to a specified PTZ Preset as the result of any System Event (e.g. motion detected, input triggered).
To use PTZ Preset-as-an-Action:
- Make sure you have the proper PTZ Preset defined in your System.
- Right click the PTZ camera in the resource panel. Then choose Camera Rules.
- Create a new rule.
- Select an event and related source camera(s)
- In Action column choose Execute PTZ Preset.
- Choose the targeted PTZ camera(s).
- Click the Advanced button on the right-top.
- Configure the interval of action and preset.
- Click Apply and OK.

Hi, Bro!
Perfect feature, but zero helpful when i need to call two presets from PTZ from the same static wide angle IPC.
Actually, i can setup several motion detector areas on camera even set different sensitivity for each but anyway all areas are the common detector! would be great you split the areas. Then we could setup separate presets to different motion areas!!
BR.
Hi Andrey,
Thank you. This is a good suggestion. We will consider it and discuss internally.
Hi!
Was there any improvements of mentioned things into the actual patch?
Or need to wait when v4 will be released?
Hi Andrey,
This feature will not be added to 4.0 and also it won't be added to 4.1.
The request has been discussed but hasn't reached the roadmap yet.
Maybe if we receive more requests than it might get a higher priority, but currently we have to make choices based on the available resources.
